Top of Kilimanjaro (Gilmans Point)
He is an accomplished mountain
climber. He was of the earliest to summit
Ship Rock New Mexico, a class 6 rock
climb. Since 1980 he mountain (not rock)
climbs major mountains such McKinley in
Alaska, Mt. Blanc in Europe, the Tetons,
Whitney (mountaineers route), Mt. Blanc
and most recently Kilimanjaro, Africa (see
photographs). He is also an expert skier.
