Douglas M. Yeaman is a respected systems analyst and a leading authority in management and organizational development. As founder of Quantum Management Systems, he has spent more than fifty years advising hundreds of companies and training tens of thousands of professionals in principle based methods that strengthen leadership, improve performance, and increase profitability.

Doug began his consulting career in Zurich with a major international management consulting firm and later joined senior colleagues in London to launch a new enterprise serving clients such as British Leyland, Rank Xerox, Barclays Financial, and The Times. During this period, he continued his studies at the London School of Economics, deepening his expertise in systems thinking, organizational behavior, and performance architecture.

Grounded in early training in physics, mathematics, and computer science, Doug built his first computers before age ten and later founded and sold a soft drink company to a Fortune 500 firm at twenty three. This scientific foundation shaped his lifelong approach to organizational systems—analytical, empirical, and focused on the underlying principles that govern performance and outcomes.

Doug is known for designing high performance systems and for introducing people positive accountability structures that help organizations align actions with intended results. He created the Vertically Integrated Accountability System™, a widely respected framework that applies General Systems Theory to real world organizational challenges. His work has helped executives and teams diagnose performance barriers, correct misalignment, and produce measurable, sustainable improvements.

His career spans global corporations, civic initiatives, and national leadership programs. He facilitated the Soviet American Citizen Summit, founded At Choice and Youth At Choice to support unemployed adults and at risk youth, and led major expeditions and leadership intensives—including a climb of Mt. McKinley (Denali) with twenty one C level executives to test and refine accountability and commitment systems.

A national speaker, Doug has presented alongside Buckminster Fuller, Barbara Marx Hubbard, and Dr. Jerry Jampolsky, and continues to advise senior executives at leading corporations. His clients have included IBM, Xerox, Wells Fargo, Clear Channel, Prudential, NBC, Fannie Mae, and the Union Tribune Corporation.

Doug is the author of The Power of Commitment, a contributor to Einstein’s Business, and the creator of The What Works Code: The Science of Causing Outcomes. Built on decades of scientific inquiry, systems analysis, and real world application, The What Works Code presents a clear, evidence based framework for understanding the principles that govern results—and how alignment with those principles produces consistent, reliable outcomes.

His work reflects a lifelong commitment to building high performance systems, empowering people to achieve exceptional results, and helping organizations operate in alignment with the principles that produce success.
